for our youngest riders aged 7 - 13 years!
Join us at Spring Lain Stables for our first all-girl summer youth riding camp! Our girls will experience a fun-filled complete horse experience over the course of one week. Students will gather daily at 9am in the camp lounge and finish their day at 4pm. Early drop-off is available at 7:30am and late pick-up at 5:30pm at no additional cost.
Safety is always our first priority! Our instructor to student ratio of 1:2 enables us to provide direct instruction to our camp girls and ensure they are comfortable and confident on an individual level. We are accepting enrollment for the following weeks this summer:
- June 12 - 16, 2017
- June 19 - 23, 2017
- July 10 - 14, 2017
- July 24 - 28, 2017
- August 7 - 11, 2017
Our girls will cover everything from the basics of the horse (breed, colors, markings, etc) to the details of what it takes to own a horse of their own. We start with safety and groundwork and advance our girls through to competent, independent riding at a walk and trot for the beginner. Outdoor riding includes trail and arena work. Camp fees for one week are $350 with a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your camp reservation. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your first day of camp. A one-time discount of $50 will be applied to those students who enroll with a sibling or enroll a friend.
Complete your enrollment inquiry to the right and we will be in touch with additional information for camp preparations and payment details.
Please Note: This is a hands-on riding camp. Heeled boots, riding pants, a fitted riding helmet, and a love for horses are all that is required. We teach the rest!
